Shared from Sherry Watts... Our good friend Candace Ross has crossed the veil between this life and the next. Candace, who has always been a shining example of what it means to be of service to others, told me many times about how much she loved her life, her children, the land, and the opportunities she was given to serve her fellow life tribe of mankind. She envisioned this planet at some near point in time as being known not merely as Earth, but as The Planet Peace. Candace worked for and dreamed of the time when we would all be concerned with taking care of one another and seeing ourselves as its caregivers and protectors of the world we have been given for a time. I am sure that she would wish that everyone takes the time this season to plant some flowers for the bees, create a critter altar to feed the small creatures in your yard, take care to stop an
d move the worms from the sidewalk back onto the grass, and leave some seeds for the birds. These are offerings you are making to Spirit and things that make us strong and remind us daily to be kind. And Candace would remind us to check on our friends and neighbors and be of service when you are able. To share the kindness. To share the love. For any of you close enough to the temple in Cactus Springs, I am also sure Candace, who was the priestess of The Temple of Goddess Spirituality in Cactus Springs, NV for twelve years of her life, would like to know that you visited again and left an offering for the land and for our planet. Perhaps walk the labyrinth and think about the concept and the act that is kindness. Leave an offering for Sekhmet. Candace’s friends will all be working for her peaceful crossing and that the next life is as beautiful as was her heart in this one. I for one, will always remember her for being a remarkable woman who inspired everyone to never give up or give in, and to create art whenever we can because any act of creativity is an offering to Spirit. And even if it only makes one other person in this world smile, Smile. This simple effort represents that you did your part to add joy and happiness to the world around you. Candace; May your body and your mind be at perfect peace and may your spirit now soar to all the places you dreamed it would travel to when you were called to return home once more.
Hail to the Traveler! Blessed be.
I’m So Grateful (to be sung) I’m so grateful for this moment, I’m so grateful for this day. As I breathe, I feel the love flow into me, As I sing, the love flows out of me. I’m so grateful for this moment, I’m so grateful for this day!
